The following third party insurance is just an option and recommendation. We do not have any deals or relationship with Allianz.
We recommend purchasing rental coverage from Allianz. Allianz's typical policy covers up to $40,000.00 for just $9/day and is one of the few companies that cover Teslas.
If you do decide to shop around for third party insurance make sure you specifically ask if the company covers Teslas as many insurance providers do not cover Teslas due to their horsepower cap policy.
Allianz is only available for renters who have driver's licenses issued within the United States.
If you have an international driver's license, please see our policy here.
Getting an Allianz third party insurance plan:
1. Go to Allianz and fill out the "Rental Car Plan". Since you'll only be renting the vehicle from us for a few hours make the start and end dates the same day. Tesloop does not have a Travel Agency ID.
2. Your quote total will be shown to you. Press "Select"
3. Complete the "Traveler Info" section with your information.
4. Complete the payment information. Add "Support@tesloop.com" in the highlighted box named "Preferred Delivery Method of your Policy Documents" so that we get a copy of your policy. Press "Complete Purchase".
